This Privacy Policy describes how AppsLab LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses and shares information when you use the Quit Smoking Hypnosis & Vaping mobile application (the "App"). By using the App you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you set up your plan you may tell us what nicotine products you use (for example cigarettes, vapes, heated tobacco or pouches), how much you use and what it costs, how long you have used them, your triggers and motivations, your quit date, daily check-ins (mood, cravings, whether you used nicotine), slips you log, and feedback on audio sessions. You may also contact us by email.
Usage and device data. We collect an app-generated user identifier, session listening progress, app interactions, device type, operating system and app version, and non-precise diagnostics, to run and improve the App.
Tracking. With your permission, the App may use identifiers to measure advertising and understand how users discover the App. On iOS you control this through the App Tracking Transparency prompt and can change it any time in your device settings.
2. Health-related information
Information about your nicotine use may be considered health information. We use it only to personalize your program, calculate your progress (for example money saved and time nicotine-free) and improve the App. We never sell it and never use it for third-party advertising.
3. Personalized summary
After onboarding, your answers may be sent to an AI service provider to generate a personalized summary of your plan. We send only your answers, not your name or contact details, and the provider may not use them to train its models.
4. How we use information
- To provide and personalize your quit program, hypnosis sessions and progress tracking.
- To operate, maintain, secure and improve the App.
- To send reminders you have enabled.
- To analyze usage and measure marketing performance.
- To respond to your support requests.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers who help us operate the App (for example cloud hosting, analytics and AI processing), and when required by law or to protect our rights. These providers may use the information only to perform services for us.
6. Subscriptions and payments
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We receive a transaction record from Apple to confirm your subscription status. Apple's handling of payment information is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
7. Data retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the App and for legitimate business or legal purposes. You can delete your account and data at any time in the App under Settings → Delete account, or by emailing us. Backups are cleared within 90 days.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal information, to object to processing and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.
9. Children's privacy
The App is intended for adults (17+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date above.
